Generator Hostels

The Generator Hostels brief asked me to focus on bringing an 'emotive moment' to their social media. My concept was about tapping into ‘city pride’ and encouraging local businesses and people to engage with the clients range of locations. My concept was well received in the pitch at Generators office and was taken forward for further development with the client. 

"Over 80% of millennials say they are always looking for a unique travel experience and adventure when they travel, and say that the best way to learn about a place is to live like the locals do."

All the photography used in this project was shot and edited by me. I then used Photoshop to create social posts for Instagram. I collected and edited the footage to create the concept video and applied the motion graphics and soundtrack using a combination of Premiere Pro and After Effects. 

I pitched this to a client team consisting of three individuals at different levels within the organisation. They were very keen to progress with the concept and implement further development, putting me through to the final list of contenders.
